A new stamped signature logo...

The logo stamped on the front of the painting
Sometimes it’s time for a “refresh”, like switching your home décor to match a new season or changing your profile picture because you’ve aged just a bit too much! So, when I was recently asked to sign my artwork, the old signature just didn’t work any longer. I used to sign my paintings with a brush and now I’m working in oil & cold wax medium, I hardly use a brush! Therefore, it had to be something with a bit more “texture”, something square to match the format of my artwork and something a bit more contemporary but still playful. It took me a while to come up with an entirely new design, but the result is a combination of my initials, the two dots that refer to the umlaut on the “O” of my maiden name Böggemann and the symbol for female. I carved this new logo out of a rubber stamp and this stamp will be applied with oil paint on the front of my works from now on. I will continue to sign the painting on the back with all my names spelled out for future reference. If you have purchased a large or medium-sized (semi-)abstract work from me in the last couple of years and would like me to add the stamp to the front of your piece, please contact me and I will be glad to take care of that, free of charge of course. Let me know what you think about the new “signature logo”, we would love to get your feedback on it!
