ONGOING CLASSES WORKSHOPS PRIVATE LESSONS
2008 SPRING CLASS "Picture it in Paint"
This course will help aspiring painters get over their fear of a white canvas with basic knowledge on how to get started. The class will deal with different materials and how to use them properly. How to transfer an image onto canvas, how to mix colors and how to fix problem areas. The result can be proudly shown to family & friends! Intermediate students will learn more about layering an oil painting, choosing the right composition, adding contrast & texture and applying colors using the glazing technique. Students are encouraged to bring unfinished paintings for advice.
Where: ESO in Belle Haven on the Eastern Shore of Virginia
When: Mondays from 10 am - 12 noon or from 2 pm - 4 pm or 7 pm - 9 pm. The next 6-week course will be held: Monday, April 28, May, 5, 12, 19, June 2 & 16 (not on May 26 & June 9).
Cost: $180 per person (materials not included).
Group size: Maximum 6 students per class.
