Ongoing Classes in Belle Haven, VA on the Eastern Shore
This course will help aspiring painters get over their fear of a white canvas with basic knowledge on how to get started. The class will deal with different materials and how to use them properly. How to transfer an image onto canvas, how to mix colors and how to fix problem areas. The result can be proudly shown to family & friends! Intermediate students will learn more about layering an oil painting, choosing the right composition, adding contrast & texture and applying colors using the glazing technique. Students work from their own photographs or set-ups and are encouraged to bring unfinished paintings for advice.
The next 6-week sessions will be held at:
ESO, 15293 King Street in Belle Haven
on the Eastern Shore of Virginia
Monday, February 27 through Monday, April 2, 2012
Classes: 10 am - 12 noon or from 2 pm - 4 pm or 7 pm - 9 pm.
Cost per one 6-week session: $180 per person (materials not included).
Group size: Maximum 6 students per class.
